Feeding local people in crisis.

Your donations enable us to provide three days of emergency food to local people in crisis. Working with local care professionals to identify those in need, we are able to provide short term relief and support as well as signposting people to organisations able to help solve the longer term problem.

Please help us to feed the hungry by buying some of the following non-perishable food items and donating them:

Moulsham Lodge Methodist Church is now registered as a Chelmsford Foodbank Collection centre. Alongside the Hymn Book shelves you will find a permanent, suitably labelled, collection bin for your non-perishable food donations. You can now drop your donations into the church on Thursday mornings from 10am until noon whilst the coffee shop is open. Come in and have a cuppa as you drop off your non-perishable food donations, you will receive a warm welcome. Thank you.

Close to the tills in the Gloucester Ave Co-op we also have a collection point trolley where you can also leave your donations.

Both these sites are emptied on a regular basis and taken to the Chelmsford Foodbank where they can be put to immediate use.

Since October 2012 MLMC, with support from our local Co-op, has donated several tons of non-perishable food items to the Chelmsford Foodbank.  Thank you.

Should you be able to volunteer help on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning at the Chelmsford Foodbank please contact Clive Pickett on cliveandgill@aol.com for more information or apply direct on info@chelmsford.foodbank.org
