Worship

Worship is a central part of being church.

10.30am - These are Family Services to which all are welcome. We offer a variety of worship styles ranging from a traditional Methodist service of hymns, preaching and prayer to more informal services with our band “Credo” and overhead projection. We also aim to have one Café style service per month with activities and discussion on the topic for that week. (On the first Sunday of most months we have a combined Family and Boys' Brigade/Girls' Brigade Parade Service.)

6.30pm - These services are usually more meditative

Holy Communion is celebrated at 10.30 and 6.30 services as announced. All are welcome at the Lord’s table.

Worship at Moulsham Lodge takes on many forms, some of which are covered by the pages in this section.  However, worship happens in many places both inside and outside of the church building.  To squash worship into a few pages on a website would never do it justice.

We are involved in open air worship, 'Soaking in God's Presence', worshiping together with other denominations locally and 'Churches Together in Chelmsford'.

We do not take up a collection during any of our services (expect Parade Services) but if you wish to make a gift there is a collection box for offerings as you enter the church.

Large print hymn books and bibles are available. Please ask.

A loop system operates during all of our services to help the hard of hearing.
